Error "PRMDB-2335-1" When Attempting to Import a Project XER File into a SQL Server Database (Doc ID 3072839.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to import a project XER file in P6 Professional connected to an SQL Server database, the following error occurs.

Event Code: PRMDB-2335-1

Message: PRM DBAccess Error: Error received from NoDBAPI.TransmitAndReceive: Parameter value 'xxxxxxxxxxxx.000000' is out of range.

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into P6 Professional connected to a SQL Server database.
  2. Attempt to mport the XER file.
  3. The import fails with the reported error.
