Symptoms
Several telephone numbers (TNs) were reserved under a Number Reservation and needed to be reserved under a different Number Reservation. However, when attempting to reserve them under the different reservation, the TNs could not be found. The GUI returned a "No matches were found for your search." message in the Telephone Number Reservation Search window even though they exist in Telephone Number Inventory.
Recreation Steps
1. Order Management.
2. Number Reservations.
3. Search for and open the reservation having the TNs needing to be moved to another reservation.
4. Locate/select the TN in the Reservation Items Selected list on the Number Inventory Reservation Maintenance window (w_reserve_maint).
5. Click the eraser icon and select "Yes" to the "You have selected 1 row. Delete this row?" message.
6. Click OK.
7. Click "Modify Search" in the Number Inventory Reservation Search window (w_reserve_query).
8. Search for and open the reservation where the TNs will moved to.
9. Click the notepad icon to open the Telephone Number Reservation Search window (w_reserve_select_query).
10. Enter the NPA, NXX, and Line for the TN and click "Search". Note the GUI displays "No matches were found for your search." even though the TNs exist in Telephone Number Inventory and previously reserved under another Reservation Number.
Changes
The Application Setup > Enable U.S. Telephone Number Pooling system preference was enabled to display the "Contaminated Telephone Numbers" and "Convert Contaminated Telephone Numbers" radio buttons on the Inventory Management > Telephone Numbers > Create tab.
