Last updated on MARCH 05, 2025

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version 15.0.0.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

This is about Out of the box (OOB) population of optional values in BRM classes related scenario.

For any class that gets created in BRM with OOB fields, it is populating zero for decimals with Null values.

One has custom made validation with decimal values. If it has a value zero or more than zero there is one business logic and if its NULL there is other business logic.

For the case in question, when not passing any value it is taking zero and going into first logic instead of second one.
