Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

During the GPRS tests customer found out that data consumption is happening from an expired balance bucket

 


Scenario:
+++++++++
1. Create account and purchase DFUADD Charge Offer (CO):
   Balance snapshot:
        DomesticRecFreeUnit -> -104857600.00
        validity = [2024-12-03T12:27:51Z,2025-01-02T23:00:00Z]}

2. Consume 40MB from 'DomesticRecFreeUnit' and terminate the session.
  Balance snapshot
      DomesticRecFreeUnit -> -62914560.00
      validity = [2024-12-03T12:27:51Z,2025-01-02T23:00:00Z]}

3. Terminate DFUADD offer.
   Balance snapshot
      DomesticRecFreeUnit -> -62914560.00
      validity = [2024-12-03T12:27:18Z,2024-12-03T12:33:36Z]}            <---------- Note the end-date was changed to Dec-03rd, 2024.

4. Initiate new session.
  Can see reservation and consumption (20MB) from expired 'DomesticRecFreeUnit'
  Balance snapshot
     DomesticRecFreeUnit -> -41943040.00
     validity = [2024-12-03T12:27:51Z,2025-01-02T23:00:00Z]}


Expected:
Reservation and consumption should start from a different bucket or be rejected.

Current:
Reservation and consumption is happening from 'DomesticRecFreeUnit' balance granted from DFUADD.
