Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When an IP Rule is created or edited, it could be confusing for users to know how to proceed due to the application's current design and behavior. Consider the three cases below:

Case 1 - Check for Lost Product Association.

Create an IP Rule and associate the product (the first time is checked), out and enter again (without make any modification) the check is "lost" we know is the first one (because is show in alphabetic Order), but is not checked, so the enhancement is keep the check on the product where is actually associated.

Case 2 - Modify the Ip Rules implies lose the product previously associated.

When a IP rule needs a modification in criteria or information, then save and close, automatically lose the product associated, so is mandatory get back and associated again, and happens as first case out and enter and the check is lost. The enhancement implies to keep the previous product associated, at least the user wants to remove, in that case move to tab IP Rule association and makes the modification.

Case 3 - The steps to do previously to modify the criteria of IP Rules.

The criteria tab is blocked after associated with a product and then save the IP rule, to do some modification again, could be necessary to made some modification in Rule information, as Description, save and close, enter again and it that point is available to update. Then occurs the case 2 and 1, lose the product associated and it corresponding mark. The enhancement could be add an edit link.
