Issues With Existing Dal Scripts After Upgrading To 13.0 From 12.7.1 (Doc ID 3078443.1)

Symptoms

After upgrading to 13.0 we are unable to complete transactions due to Dal (Documaker Automation Language) script syntax errors.

The Dal script worked fine in 12.7.1.

Print request fails with the following error:

DM12041: Error : FAP library error: Transaction:, area:<..\C\daerrors.c,Jan 8 2025 15:53:08,13.0.0.1.40805>  code1:, code2:
  message:Line: 60 Col: 1 Err: 11 Token: Else Msg: Invalid IF statement>. DM10553: Error in PreTransDAL: Unable to DALRunScript(NULL,<Call("xxxxxxxx_gvm.dal")>,,,).
