Symptoms

Agile EC is very slow to open files

Opening files and changing attributes using the EC connector takes 5-7 minutes. 

Opening and updating attributes should take a few seconds

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Open a file
2. Change any attributes using the EC connector
