Goal
You are using OC v4.5.1 which has the following components:
- 9i Application server installed on Windows 2000 server with 10g report server.
- ORACLE 9i database (9.2.0.6) installed on HP UNIX 11.11
- TMS 4.5.2 integrated with O*C with 2 dictionaries MedDRA and WHODrug on UNIX and the application server
You need a backup and recovery plan in case the application server and/or database server is down (hardware failure such as a Hard Disk Drive crash).
What are the best practices in backing up the application server and database server for Clinical in order to minimize MTTR (Mean Time To Repair)?
