You are using OC v4.5.1 which has the following components:
- 9i Application server installed on Windows 2000 server with 10g report server.
- ORACLE 9i database (184.108.40.206) installed on HP UNIX 11.11
- TMS 4.5.2 integrated with O*C with 2 dictionaries MedDRA and WHODrug on UNIX and the application server
You need a backup and recovery plan in case the application server and/or database server is down (hardware failure such as a Hard Disk Drive crash).
What are the best practices in backing up the application server and database server for Clinical in order to minimize MTTR (Mean Time To Repair)?
What is the procedure for restoring application and database servers after restoration of the hardware?
