OGL EPF: Hierarchy Rule Completes Successfully but No Members Assigned in FEM_xxxxx_HIER Table (Doc ID 352560.1)

This problem can occur on any platform.
OGL EPF Integration


When trying to make a "Business Area" effective in Enterprise Planning and Budgeting (EPB), the following error occurs:

"The Hierarchy for Rule Organization Hierarchy default hierarchy has no members associated"

The Organization Hierarchy Rule was run successfully in Enterprise Performance Foundation Administrator from the following screen: "Data Rules" → "Oracle Dimension Sources" → "Chart of Accounts" → "Organization" → "Define Hierarchy Rules".

The View Log for the Hierarchy Rule shows the rule ran successfully:

Creating dimension attributes.
Process registration completed successfully.


Concurrent request completed successfully

However, the dimension hierarchy table, FEM_xxxxx_HIER, contains 0 rows.
