Trying to deploy a Wireless application developed using JWE to standalone OC4J (Doc ID 356932.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 22, 2017

Applies to:

Wireless Option - Version: 10.1.2.0 and later   [Release: 10.1.2 and later ]

Symptoms

Having developed a Wireless application using JDeveloper 10.1.2 with the JWE and tested this works from within the JDeveloper runtime environment, you now want to deploy to a Standalone OC4J instance.

However deploying this to the Standalone OC4J supplied with JDeveloper and trying to start the
OC4J instance (using a URL like this: (http://localhost:8888/examples/jsp/mesg.jsp)) gives me:

500 Internal Server Error
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: oracle/panama/messaging/xms/XMSFactory
