Symptoms

On 4.5.39 in Production on Sun Solaris 5.8, Oracle 9.2.0.7 with Jan 2006 security patches:

After applying sun patches users experiencing segmentation faults when attempting to run TP the
following error occurs:

$ adb /opt/apps/ofsa45/bin/ofstp core

SIGSEGV: Segmentation Fault
error while reading shared library: data address not found

Once the patches were backed out the OFSA job ran to completion. This was reproduced on two
different server/databases.
