How to Use OFSA_TABLE_STORAGE_DEFAULTS to Change Storage Information of a Transformed Table (Doc ID 365528.1)

Last updated on MAY 25, 2006

Applies to:

Oracle Financial Services Applications (OFSA) 4.5
Oracle Financial Data Manager - Version: 4.5
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Changing the values in OFSA_TABLE_STORAGE_DEFAULTS does not have any impact on the table storage information of a table created by the Transformation ID.

For Example:

When using the Transformation ID to transform a Risk Manager result detail table, the following error occurs:

Oracle Error: ORA-01631: max # extents (505) reached in table OFSADEMO.OFS_RPT_RES_DTL_100737_C

You increase the MAX_EXTENTS value in OFSA_TABLE_STORAGE_DEFAULTS and re-run the Transformation ID but the same error occurs and the table storage information in DBA_TABLES has not changed.

How do you use OFSA_TABLE_STORAGE_DEFAULTS to change the table storage information of the resulting transformed table?
