RDC PDF Mode returns Failed To Fetch Data - Error Code 4 (Doc ID 376536.1)

Symptoms

In some client when opening a document in PDF  mode the following error message is returned:

Failed to fetch CRF data!
Unable to fetch CRF data using URL:
http://server/opardc/DCIDataServlet?sid=......$docnum=<DOC_NUMBER>&tts=.....
Error code: 4
Error Message:
