Oracle Retail Data Warehouse - Version 10.2 to 13.1 [Release 10 to 13.1]

Retail Sales Audit (ReSA) passes sale items to Retail Data Warehouse (RDW) through an Retail Data Warehouse Transfer (RDWT) file. The RDWT file is imported into RDW through a series of batch programs, starting with 'slsildmex.ksh'. The RDWT file contains 2 dates. The ReSA store day date and the actual transaction date and time for the transaction [As registered in the schema file, the dates are 'DAY_DT' (store day date) and 'TRAN_DT' (transaction date)].

SLSILDMEX.KSH reads only DAY_DT from the ReSA source file and disregards TRAN_DT. Why is this?
