Empty Case Browse Form After Logging On (Doc ID 395126.1)

Adverse Event Reporting System - Version: AERS to 4.5.1
This problem can occur on any platform.


Case Browse module / form within AERS opens completely blank on the left hand panel which should
display the hierarchical tree structure.

The following symptoms are observed:

Errors when logging on:

FRM-40735 WHEN-NEW-FORM-INSTANCE trigger raised unhandled exception ORA-00942.
ORA-01003: no statement parsed.

Click OK

The Case Browse window appears (CASE_BROWSE_WDW)
The left hand navigation panel of the hierachical tree is empty

Hit the Refresh and Execute buttons at the bottom of the form a few times, then the tree in the
panel appears

Click on $OPEN_CASES branch
Error appears:

FRM-40815: Variable GLOBAL.CURRENT_BROWSE_CASELIST does not exist

Click OK

The listing of the cases on the right hand side is incomplete => only the Sequence Number and
the Case ID appears, the rest of the information is missing / empty

Go to menu Cases -> Open Case
Type in the Case ID in the Open Case field and click Open => all the details of the case
appears in the Case Entry form
