On 11.5.10 or R12.x in Production:
When attempting to submit a plan for 12-24 month horizon, the plan fails due to insufficient memory and the following error occurs.
Memory based planner errors with APP-MRP-22086: mradfpalloc: cannot allocate memory
This problem had occurred in the past, and it was determined that it was the looping of WIP/BOM in the log files. The files have since been cleared those out and it was running fine for a few weeks, but the error has returned.
It was also found that if the horizon is lowered, it will complete. However, the program should be able to run a full MRP based on a 2 year, instead of 12-14 months, which they are currently using as a workaround
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Mfg Super User > Material Resource Planning > Launch Plan
Due to this issue, users cannot run the MRP plan for the full 2 year horizon they require.
