When running "invilddm.ksh" or some Retail Extract Transform and Load (RETL) Scripts, for some reasons (due to data) SQL loader cannot load all rows and it rejects some rows. However, in this case "invilddm.ksh" always returns a return code 0, causing the Retail Data Warehouse (RDW) batch schedule to continue even if there are missing data .
There are two cases:
- The number of rejected rows is under 50; in this case SQL Loader continue with data loading.
- The number of rejected rows is over 50; in this case SQL Loader stop with data loading.
In the two cases we want that "invilddm.ksh" returns a diffferent return code than 0 to be able to stop the RDW schedule and correct the original problem.
