Events Not Populated In The Table "Event_session_dialup_t" When Using The UEL To Load Dialup Events (Doc ID 408650.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 03, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version 7.0.0.0.1 and later
Oracle Solaris on SPARC (32-bit)

Symptoms

When trying to load a dialup event, as this is not defined in the system, the application will default to a session event and rate it on 'duration ', even though the dialup event is based on size (bytes out and bytes in).

The opcode is failing because dialup event is being send, but there is no PIN_FLD_DIALUP substruct in the input flist. To calculate the RUM system looks for this field.

So need to define the event with it's applicable RUM and then pass the PIN_FLD_DIALUP substruct in the input flist.
