Purpose

To help users understand the resources and functionality available in R12 for the Advanced Planning and Scheduling applications which includes:

Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP)
Global Order Promising (GOP/ATP)
Collaborative Planning (CP)
Oracle Demand Planning (ODP)
Inventory Optimization (IO)
Strategic Network Optimization (SNO) **
Production Scheduling (PS) **
Demand Management (Demantra) **

Notes:
** 1. The APS Support team is responsible only for the integration portions of the these applications (SNO & PS / Demantra) and each has it's own product support team responsible for the product functionality. We work very closely with these groups to coordinate and provide effective support.

2. Additionally, for ODP, APS Support primarily supports the data collected to ODP, defining the plans and finished plan data that is used in ASCP. Primary support for core functions once a demand plan is created in ODP are provided by the 'OLAP' team for Demand Planning. We work very closely with this team to provide coordinated support.
