FAQ - Deal Applied At Purchase Order Header Level In Retail Merchandising System (RMS)

Total Order Cost is sum of ordloc.unit_cost for all items on the order based on quantity ordered for each item. Total Order Cost is a calculated field and not a database field that stores total cost of PO. Hence, there is no such thing as "percentage or amount discount is applied to the total order at the header level". Percentage or amount discount is applied to item/locs that consitute the PO, which in turn, affect total order cost. Deal needs to be created for item/locs and then, applied to the PO containing those item/locs.
