Using Component Parameters to modify IPSA component values when running
(Doc ID 432798.1)
Last updated on APRIL 23, 2021
Applies to:
Oracle Communications IP Service Activator - Version 7.3.0.0.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
Using the "Component Parameters" facility in IPSA. This utility allows "on the fly" changes to certain parameters of each IPSA component, rather than having to restart.
Note: All components in IPSA have their component values set in the cman.cfg file in the Config directory of IP Service Activator. This file is read by the Component Manager on startup. Any changes to this file are not read until the Component Manager is restarted. Using Component Parameters only affects a temporary change to the component. If a component was to be restarted it will assume the values stored for it by the Component Manager.
