PriceEventExecutionBatch.sh Fails With ORA-30926 Error: "Unable to Get Stable Set of Rows" (Doc ID 435104.1)

Symptoms

While running PriceEventExecutionBatch.sh, the batch fails while calling RPM_PRICE_EVENT_SQL.UPDATE_ITEM_ZONE_PRICE.  The error received is:

"[null, null, Error ORA-30926: unable to get a stable set of rows in the source tables returned by program unit RPM_PRICE_EVENT_SQL.UPDATE_ITEM_ZONE_PRICE.]"


Steps to reproduce:

  1. Log into RPM
  2. Create and approve a price change for a specific tran item and zone for next day
  3. Move vdate to next day and bounce the server.
  4. Create and approve another price change for the same tran item and zone for  next day.
  5. Move vdate again to next day and bounce server.
  6. At this point,  you have two approved price changes that are effective in the past
  7. Execute priceEventExecutionBatch.sh  - Observe error
