OGL EPF: Hierarchy Incorrect in EPF After Adding New Top Parent Value to GL Hierarchy (Doc ID 436073.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 04, 2008

Applies to:

Oracle Enterprise Performance Foundation - Version: 11.5.10
This problem can occur on any platform.
OGL EPF Integration

After changing a Hierarchy in Oracle General Ledger (GL) by adding a new top level value and placing all other values beneath it, the Hierarchy does not appear correctly in Enterprise Performance Foundation Administrator or Enterprise Planning and Budgeting (EPB) after re-running the Dimension Rules and Hierarchy Rule to transfer it from GL.  While the top level value does exist, it does not contain the expected node values below it.  Most of the values that should be below the top level are missing.

Note: This Hierarchy is defined as a "No Levels" hierarchy in Enterprise Performance Foundation Administrator.
