Users are working with the Web ADI worksheet to update descriptions for particular dimension members. These members were sourced from Oracle General Ledger.  They enter existing member values and are looking to update these dimension members with new descriptions.

After running the process, they notice an error in the concurrent log:

1242 rows loaded successfully.
1242 rows failed to load successfully.

The Web ADI spreadsheet completes successfully with no error messages. The window states that all rows are successfully loaded and there are all green smiley faces.

However, when the users check the interface tables (for Example Line Item), they notice:

FEM_LN_ITEMS_B_T and FEM_LN_ITEMS_TL_T were clean but FEM_LN_ITEMS_ATTR_T has the error status "PROTECTED_ATTR_ASSIGN" for attributes like EXTENDED_ACCOUNT_TYPE, SOURCE_SYSTEM_CODE, and RECON_LEAF_NODE_FLAG on every loaded value. The users are wondering if this error can be ignored or if further action is required.
