Missing interfaces after device reload and rediscovery (Doc ID 443559.1)

Symptoms

Upon a device discovery the subinterfaces all showed up as missing (grayed out in the IPSA UI). They re-appeared as interfaces at the same hierarchy level as their parent main interface. The device will then show the "remove missing interfaces" from its right click menu in the IPSA UI. Potentially this could cause services to be removed from the device and consequential loss of network services.
