For item 1000039, there is forecast demand with a Sugg Due Date of 17-AUG-2007 23:59:00 for a Qty/Rate 16892 with an Order Priority of 165

For item 1013371, there is sales order demand with a Sugg Due Date of 25-JUN-2007 23:59:00 for a Qty/Rate 54600 with an Order Priority of 95

When you look at the pegging information for 1000039, you see that item 1009252 is pegged to 'On Hand', while for 1013371, item 1009252 is pegged to a 'Planned order'.

Question: Why is item 1009252 pegged to a planned order for demand that is due the next day (ie sales order demand) while the same item is pegged to on hand for demand that isn't due for almost 3 months?
