Unable to Connect to Pipeline Database -- Pipeline Toolbox issues (Doc ID 457274.1)

Symptoms

When a new installation of the Pipeline Configuration Manager is done (see also Product Documentation about the installation procedure), the setup scripts create a new JSA schema in the Pipeline Manager database, including the following tables:

These tables are needed by the Pipeline Toolbox to access the Pipeline Manager database.

Problems may appear if a pipeline database user is configured which is different from the default one (integrate), and that user is not properly configured, or the JSA_* tables are not populated with all expected data.

For example, if the user is not properly configured, the message "Unable to connect to pipeline database", is issued by the Pricing Center at startup, or anytime the connection is renewed.

Another problem that may appear, when the JSA_* tables aren't properly populated, is that the Pipeline Toolbox doesn't allow creation of new Discount Model (the 'New' button is disabled).
