(Doc ID 464095.1)
Last updated on APRIL 17, 2025
Applies to:
Oracle Global Order Promising - Version 11.5.9 to 11.5.9 [Release 11.5]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Available to Promise (ATP)/Capable To Promise (CTP) based on planning output with Planning Time Fence (PTF) control turned on, prevents Global Order Promising (GOP) Capable To Promise to add any planned order for a make item with a start date earlier than the end of Planning Time Fence .
Planning Time Fence Date is in ASCP the earliest date. Planning engine can suggest a planned order in terms of suggested due date, not start date.
GOP logic considers Planning Time Fence date is the earliest possible suggested start date.
GOP Implementation guide states:
"If the job start date falls before today's date or within Planning Time Fence of the item, Oracle Global Order Promising fails to meet the demand on request date."
