Last updated on OCTOBER 22, 2012

Applies to:

Oracle Demantra Demand Management - Version 7.1.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On 7.1.0 in Production:
When running the Forecast Analytical Engine in a Distributed environment, some - but not all of
the engine 2k logs shows multiple errors when trying to run a stored procedure ProcessTempTable1 as follows:

21:59:14:644 Forecast and Split finished for branch ID 8
00:10:57:295 ERROR ---------------------------------------------------------------
00:10:57:295 ERROR DB_Command::Execute threw an exception:
00:10:57:295 ERROR { call ProcessTempTable1 }
00:10:57:545 ERROR Error code: 0
00:10:57:561 ERROR Stored procedure (ProcessTempTable1) failed to execute successfully!
00:10:57:561 Executing bulk insert with 1023713 rows
00:10:57:561 Starting Bulk Loading: sqlldr.exe vmiprod1/

The multiple errors differ only in the the number at the end of the ProcessTempTable (ie it could be 1 as above or 12, something else).  The Engine Manager log also shows these multiple errors.  The engine does complete successfully and generate the forecast but it is also noted that performance has degraded

Steps to Reproduce:
1.  Run the Batch Analytical Engine in a weekly environment
2.  Review the Engine2k logs and Engine Manager log
