Rtlog Files Not Loading Correctly Using Max_days_compare_dups

Symptoms
In Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) Version: 12.0.5, By processing RTLOG files of two consecutive days, the transactions from the second day that has transaction numbers that were consecutive with the transaction numbers from the first day were kicked out as duplicate transactions and added to the tdup file. None of the transaction numbers were actually duplicates.
Steps To Reproduce:
1- Process the first day's RTLOG file.
2- Process the second day's RTLOG file.
3- Observe that transactions that are consecutive with the tran numbers from day one have been rejected for the second day with the following errors:
DUP_TRAN, THEAD_IN_ILLEGAL_POS, FTAIL_IN_TRAN in error file
