Cannot Delete A Query Component Without Getting An Error (Doc ID 473267.1)

This problem can occur on any platform.


On 4.6 in Production:
When attempting to save the changes after deleting a component of the query from the Case Query
module in AERS, the following error occurs:

EN:-20021 Query Exceeds Maximum length
When you try to save again, another error occurrs:
FRM-40735 EXECUTE_SAVEQUERY trigger raised unhandled exception
ORA-01403: No data found

-- Steps To Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1) Logon to AERS
2) Click on the Query Cases module
3) Specify S for the Case Type
4) Save the query SEP46QUERY
5) Open the Query SEP46QUERY and click on Add Component
Enter "E" for Case Priority.
Save the query.
6) Close the Query Case module.
7) Click on the Query Case module again and double click on the SEP46QUERY
8) Higlight the Case Priority criteria of the second component.
9) Click Delete component from the Actions Menu, get the message: EN:-20021 Query Exceeds
maximum lengt
10) Click Save again another message FRM-40735 EXECUTE_SAVEQUERY trigger raised unhandled
exception ORA-01403, ORA-01403: No data found
