Analyzing And Optimizing Pipeline Manager Performance

The performance of the Pipeline manager (usually measured in terms of CDR processed per second) depends on several system and product-related parameters.
Given the pipe-lined architecture of the CDR processing, performance is usually limited by the slowest plug-in in the pipeline. Hence, performance can be optimized only after a quantitative analysis of the time spent in each plug-in is completed.
The aim of the present article is to provide some suggestions on how to evaluate performance of the pipeline and to identify any possible performance bottleneck.
