Symptoms
When attempting to Launch ASCP plan the following error occurs in Snapshot Delete worker
Unable to obtain a lock on table MSC_SUPPLIES or Unable to obtain a lock on table MSC_DEMANDS
Cause: The program is unable to obtain a lock on the table MSC_SUPPLIES / MSC_DEMANDS
Action: Resubmit the program at a later time.
Cause: The program is unable to obtain a lock on the table MSC_SUPPLIES / MSC_DEMANDS
Action: Resubmit the program at a later time.
If MRP:Debug Mode = Yes an additional error will be shown in the log file:
ORA-00054: resource busy and acquire with NOWAIT specified or timeout
STEPS
1. Navigate to Advanced Supply Chain Planning > Supply Chain Plan > Launch
2. Select the plan to be Launched and Launch the plan.
3. See that the snapshot delete worker fails with the said error
