Should Current Interfaces be Replaced by New Interfaces Delivered in 1.7.15? (Doc ID 556595.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 16, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management - Version 1.7.15 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

It appears that the naming convention for several standard interface procedures changed in Version 1.7.15.  The following are some examples:

WIFP_ASSET_INTERFACE
WIFP_COST_ADJUSTMENT_INTERFACE
WIFP_DIRECT_CHARGE_INTERFACE
WIFP_GL_TRANS_INTERFACE
WIFP_INVENTORY_LOG_INTERFACE
WIFP_SERVICE_REQUEST_INTERFACE
WIFP_TIMEKEEPING_INTERFACE

Are we to replace old Job Manager set-ups such as SDBP_GL_TRANS_INTERFACE (....) with calls to WIFP_GL_TRANS_INTERFACE?
Are the parameters to the new routines identical to the old ones?
