Data Collections from diverse source instances.

Purpose

When collecting from multiple source instances, data scrubbing may be required.

Scope

When approaching consolidation of diverse data sources into one data warehouse such as ASCP, attention needs to be paid to the task of data matching.   Meaning that, there may be three different names to a supplier that requires only one entry in the ASCP data warehouse.   UOM codes are another example of problems in conversion.

This note intends to give you understanding of the unique key requirements.
