The Inp_GenericStream Module Removes A Character From Input Filename Suffix
Last updated on AUGUST 06, 2008
Applies to:Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version: 188.8.131.52.0 to 184.108.40.206.1
This problem can occur on any platform.
INP_GenericStream module is accepting the input files even though InputSuffix is not matching and furthermore, removes a character from Input filename suffix.
The issue can be reproduced by the following steps:
1. Pass a CDR file with name like this , for example : testabcedr in /data/in directory
2. Pipeline will immediately consume this file, even though one has set InputSuffix = .edr in the pipeline registry
3. One can also observe that pipeline deletes a character from the CDR file name .
For example: test_PREPROCESSab.done
3a. The same can be observed for all the generated files like .out, streamlog etc.
Pipeline should not have picked the CDR file for rating, since input file name is not matching InputSuffix specified in the registry.
