Cannot Install OFSA Client on PC with Oracle 9i Client

Purpose
You cannot install the Oracle Financial Services Applications (OFSA) modules on a Windows XP PC that already has the Oracle 9i client installed. When you try to install from the "win32" folder, you get the following error after selecting a language:
The location specified, "C:\Program Files\Oracle\ora92", is already used as an Oracle home for 'Oracle 92'.
It cannot be used as an Oracle Home for 'nt'.
Note: If installing OFSA software from a remote server and not a CD, you must map the remote location to a network drive (Tools > Map Network Drive...) or you may received additional errors.
Steps To Reproduce:
- Go to the remote server where the OFSA software is located
- Map the remote server to a network drive on the PC
- Go to the "win32" folder
- Double click on "setup.exe"
- Select a language
The Oracle home error occurs.
