Symptoms
Forecast is not being consumed for item.
Parent item on sales order
Demand class is 1009
Forecast Demand for the item that is used to build this item on sales order.
Forecast has 30 days forward and backward consumption
Sales order demand class 1009 - for 14-JAN - 24 ea
Forecast demand class 1009 - for 04-FEB - 26 ea
-- Note: Demand class is optional and not required for this functionality. But if demand class is being used, then forecast and sales order must have the same demand class.
ATO Configuration Setups:
|- 7459M is a Model type item
|- 7459-5100-8801 is the actual item being sold and forecasted
This represents a Model within a Model type of setup.
No forecast consumption is seen in the Planner Workbench when we reveal the Consumed Forecast column using /Folder/Show Field
MSC_FORECAST_UPDATES table shows overconsumption record for 24 each with Date 28-SEP-07
STEPS:
Create forecast for item with demand class
Create sales order with demand class for parent item
Collect data and run the plan.
