MRCMON - Snapshot Monitor Will Not Complete Due To Locks On Table MTL_MATERIAL_TRANSACTIONS_TEMP (Doc ID 566273.1)

Goal

When users schedule MPS/MRP plan runs they are getting table locks on MTL_MATERIAL_TRANSACTIONS_TEMP showing in the MRCMON - Snapshot Monitor log file and the concurrent request will not complete. The log file shows the following information or similar:

APP-MRP-22050 Table mtl_material_transaction_temp is locked
APP-MRP-22065 snapshot unable to lock mtl_material_transaction_temp

It's also possible the errors will not show but another indication of the problem are literally hundreds of lines in the log file like the following:

MTL_MATERIAL_TRANSACTIONS_TEMP locked on 23-ABR-2008 23:38:15
