If ITEM_LOC_SOH.AV_COST is updated with item estimated landed cost (Including the item expenses) when the ITEM_LOC_SOH record is first created as a result of ranging the location to the item and before an order is received against this item location, then after receiving the order, other allowances such as freight charges, expenses will get added to ITEM_LOC_SOH.AV_COST resulting in a wrong calculation of the new ITEM_LOC_SOH.AV_COST. How does Retail Merchandising System (RMS) avoid this miscalculation?
