This article provides general information on the creation of manual Totals in Retail Sales Audit (ReSA).
Goal
How can totals/rules in Retail Sales Audit (ReSA) be defined manually?
There are two methods for creating totals in ReSA:
1. Through the GUI, using the Total Definition wizard. Please see the relevant User Guide for your installation for complete details on this functionality.
2. Through the backend. Creation through the backend requires you to build and create custom code which then calls the base packages.
Please note that should you create custom code to facilitate the definition of totals, it is not within the purview of Support to assist in creation of this code. In addition, in accordance with Oracle Software Technical Support Policies, Oracle Support may not be able to provide fixes for issues resulting from such custom modifications, as the problem may not be demonstrable in our standard Support environments.
For additional assistance with this functionality, you may consider creating a forum thread in the Oracle Retail Merchandising System User Community.
