ORA-04031: Unable to Allocate XXXX Bytes of Shared Memory Error When Attempting to Run Search/Report in Agile PLM (Doc ID 568949.1)

Symptoms

Below error is reported in Web Client when user attempts to run search/report in Agile Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and Agile Application Server performance gets extremely slow.

Error

ORA-29902: error in executing ODCIIndexStart() routine
ORA-20000: Oracle Text error:
DRG-50857: oracle error in drdmlpo
ORA-04031: unable to allocate 32808 bytes of shared memory ("shared pool","DRIXMD","PLMCD^d6af968b","BAMIMA: Bam Buffer")
ORA-06508: PL/SQL: could not find program unit being called: "CTXSYS.DRIXMD"
ORA-06512: at "CTXSYS.DRVXMD", line 35
ORA-06512: at lin
ORA-30576: ConText Option dictionary loading error

Actual Behavior

Agile Standard Functions (Ex: Simple Search etc) doesn't work with above error, the performance of Agile Application Server gets slow and Agile Application Server will go dead.

Expected Behavior

Agile Standard Functions (Ex: Simple Search etc) should work without above error.

 

Steps to Reproduce:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into Web Client, and do any operation such as execute Search/Report
  2. Gets the error in Web Client and the performance of system gets extremely slow
