Symptoms

PPM Child task prematurely changes the parent status

When there is more than one review step in the parent Program, the parent status gets prematurely pushed to the end of the workflow.

If you have a parent task with some child tasks, the parent task is advancing one status for every status change of a child task. For example  if you advance two child tasks through two statuses, the parent task advances through four statuses.

Deliverable rules are not acting as a controlling mechanism to control the program's status

Fact: This works when there are just three steps in the workflow: Not Started, In Process, Complete.
