How to Remove Excess (Import) Values from Name of Imported/Migrated Mapping Rule Components (Doc ID 578194.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 28, 2008

Applies to:

Oracle Profitability Manager - Version: 11.5.10
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

In Profitability Manager 11i, prior to version FEM.D.1 Rollup #4 (<<Patch:6402403>>), if a Mapping Rule was imported or migrated multiple times from one database to another, a value of "(Import)" was added to the front of the version display name each time it was imported.  (Import) was appended to the following items:

Mapping Rule version
Condition version
Dimension Component
Data Source Component

Example:

(Import)(Import)(Import)Affiliate Sales Component

In FEM.D.1 Rollup #4, this behavior was changed to append (Import) only once regardless of the number of times a rule is imported.  However, mapping rules used in prior versions of FEM will still have multiple (Import) values on their version names.

How can you remove these multiple (Import) values from the version names?  How can you clean up these excess (Import) values?
