Symptoms

In Profitability Manager (PFT) 11i, you submit a Mapping Rule for approval but the approver never receives an approval request.  If you login as "sysadmin" and go to the Workflow responsibility's notifications, the following error appears for the request:

The approval rule you created uses an HR Supervisor Hierarchy.  You have implemented FEM Approvals as described in My Oracle Support <Document 416231.1> "How to Setup a Sample FEM Workflow Approval for Business Rules for 11i".
