Trying To Add A Payment In The Payment Page, Results In Error 'Payment Event ID field missing' (Doc ID 602635.1)

When adding a payment event in the Payment Page, an error "Payment Event ID field missing" is
displayed. This is encountered after searching for the payment event in the Payment Event Search

Payment Event ID field missing
Message number: 11, 253
Call sequence: ;CIPPXCER, CIPPPAYP

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Go to Financial > Payment. Add payment.
2. On the payment event field, search for payment events.
3. On the Payment Event Search Window, pick any payment event, the error occurs.
