Exporting Incremental Forecast From Demantra is Erroring Out. (Doc ID 603947.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 15, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Demantra Demand Management - Version 7.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On 7.2 in Production:
When attempting to run the workflow for Exporting Forecast from Demantra to ASCP.,
the following error occurs:

Process ID: 2562 Schema ID: 1153 Schema name: ''Fcst Exp ASCP'' Step ID: ''PopulateDenormTable''
Step name: ''PopulateDenormTable'' Error description ''Database internal error: ORA-20015:
Exception: msd_dem_upload_forecast.upload_forecast - ORA-20005: Error:
: msd_dem_upload_forecast.upload_forecast - Incremental export type is not supported''.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Configure the Export Integration interface with the Export Type as 'incremental'.
2. Mention the series, levels, date range and the BIEO table details.
3. Run the workflow for the export integration interface containing the Transfer Step and the
Populate Denorm Table using the stored procedure step.
4. Check for any error in the Collaborator Workbench --> My Tasks

The issue has the following business impact:
Unable to export the incremental forecast to ASCP, which is required as part of the business
process and we have a solution using the same. Hence this would cause a limitation.
