Last updated on OCTOBER 18, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Utilities Framework - Version: 2.1.0 and later   [Release: 2.1 and later ]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When the Batch soft parameter name has a length equal to 29 characters, the generated inputdata file showed the soft parameter name had been appended with a space thus resulting in an error in the Batch Job.  This error only occurs if the batch control has at least one soft parameter name with length equal to 29.

STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run any batch program using batch job submission. Just make sure that the batch control has at
least one soft parameter name with length equal to 29 characters.
2. Check the contents of the generated inputdata file.
