Incorrect Rating Of Dialup Sessions Spanning Multiple Time Of Day Ranges

Consider the scenario : Pricing of dialup sessions is set up to use different rates for peak (weekdays 8am - 6pm) and off-peak usage (weekdays 6pm - 8am, weekends, holidays). Time of day(TOD) mode is set to Timed.
Some sessions that span from peak to off-peak rate (or the other way around) are rated only within the TOD range they begin in.
For example: session begins at 14:59:30 and lasts until 20:00:00, but is rated only until 17:59:59
How could one address such situation ?
