Applies to:Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version: 184.108.40.206.0 to 220.127.116.11.1
This problem can occur on any platform.
A call is being split across time zones -- only first portion is being displayed on the Bill Details
Process one call with enough usage to cross two time zones. For example, start the call at 17:00
and carry it through to 20:00 in the following time period (10800 seconds):
PK (Peak) - 09:00 - 17:00 - daytime calling
OP (Offpeak) - 17:00 - 19:00 - early evening and weekend calling
OP2 (Offpeak2) - 19:00 - 09:00 - late evening and weekend calling
In Customer Center Event Browser, a user brings up the usage event detail and under the "Bal Impacts":
7200 in one section
3600 in another section
was shown for the call details.
However, in Customer Center Balance tab, if the user drill down the "Bill in progress" ->
Service -> usage item -> underlined Net value, in the Event Details window, only 7,200
discounted with a discount amount of $54.00 (rate is $0.30/min) is displayed. It should have
10800 seconds for the free resource.
It is rated correctly but the display is misleading.
1. Create an account with more than 3 hours free resource (seconds).
2. Give usage from 17:00 with 10800 seconds span. Load the CDR.
3. Go to Balance tab, Bill in progress, select the service, drill down to usage item, then click on the amount in "Net" column to bring up Event Details screen.
